Since its inception the AISEC has stood for modern scientific, secular, democratic and universal education. Presently it stands gravely concerned with the promulgation and implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, which tends to shatter whatever vestiges of scientific secular education still exists in the country, paves smooth way for putting education totally in the grip of profit-hungry corporate houses and spells doom for academic autonomy and democratic rights of primary stakeholders of education. It pledges for reinventing past Indian glory through so-called Indian Knowledge System, as also imports failed systems from the USA. The AISEC calls upon education fraternity and common people as well, to join its All India Save Education Conference on 30 -31 October to further its efforts to build sustained organized movement against NEP 2020.
