Hey! I'm Jesse and welcome to Backcountry Forward! This channel started as my ambitious pursuit to stop saying "one day" and start chasing my wilderness passion! Now, learning as I go, I'm passionate about sharing the experience I've gathered along the way. Here, we all believe the backcountry is for everybody and that peoples' lives are made richer when they get outdoors. So with the goal of getting beginners backpacking, I offer the tips and tools we all need to be "Backcountry Forward!" Being "backcountry forward" is all about pursuing our "wildhood": the wilderness dreams and ambitions we've had since childhood! Whether it's a short reprieve from the "9 to 5" or the trip of a lifetime, when we live "backcountry forward" we learn to live for adventure and embrace the wild side of life!
