Erik Dalton, PhD, is a recognized pioneer in the massage therapy and bodywork community. He is the founder of Freedom from Pain Institute and creator of the Dalton Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT), a massage technique borne out of Ida Rolf's Structural Integration, fascial work and neurology. Erik Dalton has over 30 years of experience teaching MAT. A faculty member in the department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana State University, Dalton is skilled in psychology, osteopathy, manual therapy, myoskeletal alignment, and Rolfing.
