We want to share our love of fiber arts with you! We formed Shepherd Industries, LLC in 2018 to bring our businesses, Dakota Fiber Mill and Bear Creek Felting together. We have over 10 years of experience in the fiber arts that we want to share with you. Chris has extensive knowledge in operating a successful fiber mill as well as raising a variety of fiber animals. Teresa is a master needle felting artist teaching online and through kits as well as taking care of her flock of 125 sheep. Both Chris and Teresa enjoy spinning, weaving, knitting, felting and many other fiber arts. We purchased an abandoned school building that was built in 1916 and are currently renovating it to be a fiber arts center where fiber arts enthusiasts from all over the world can come and learn from Chris and Teresa and other experts in the fiber arts as well. Follow along on our adventures in renovating this beautiful old school building. We post videos weekly answering fiber arts questions.
