Grandad's Train Room
My retirement project - Grandad’s train room. A work in progress consisting of a 5 line layout over 2 levels, complete with turntable, landscaping and various buildings including a mainline station in OO gauge. DCC controlled via Z21. I managed to convince my other half that the studio above our garage would be perfect for a model railway layout. The room measures 19’ x 17’ so plenty of space. I’ve had train sets since a young lad but traded them in for a car stereo when I got my first set of wheels - big mistake!! I started collecting again in the late 80’s but never had room for a layout….. until now. I’m 2 years into this project with so much more to do, so please subscribe and join me as the layout progresses
