My name is Allen and this is my channel dedicated to my HO scale model railroad layout. The channel primarily focuses on the construction of the layout with twice-monthly updates (usually every other Friday), but also includes randomly posted operations videos as the layout progresses. I enjoy receiving feedback and suggestions regarding the layout, and have made a few changes along the way based on great viewer-recommended ideas. The layout is based on a basic linear path from El Dorado, Kansas to near Salida, Colorado, a path that I traveled many times growing up with my family on our summer trips to Colorado. There isn't much to see along that route, especially in western Kansas/eastern Colorado, but the railroad tracks, primarily belonging to the BNSF, parallel almost the entire route. Other roadnames represented on the layout are the Union Pacific, Missouri Pacific, Denver & Rio Grande Western, Southern Pacific and Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe. Thank you for watching!
