We are a husband and wife couple enjoying the van life. Our Story: In 2014, after a life changing event, we knew we wanted to do something else with our lives. At the time, we were working, living in an apartment, and following “the script”. What is “the script” you ask? It is the life plan that was laid out for you at birth. The one where you go to school, get good grades, finish college, establish a career, get married, buy a house, have kids, and eventually retire to live the life you dreamed of. Although this plan is great for some people, we quickly realized that it wasn’t what we wanted to do with our lives. Sure we want some of those things, but we also want to live a life that is authentically ours. Not a life that other people have chosen for us. At the end of 2014 we broke through that script and bought a 2002 GMC Savana van. After a 6 month van conversion and a few minor set backs, in 2017, we finally realized our dreams.
