We are all about Off-Grid, Frugal, Simple Living, and all that it entails. We are just ordinary people living our dream & sharing what we are learning along the way. In July, my husband & I purchased 45 acres in Cochise County, Arizona. We had it subdivided, and 2 or 3 of our grown kids (possibly someday all 4) plan to move out there too, and set up their own off-the-grid homesteads!! We have a couple more months before we move out to the land, and are getting as much as we can done in the meantime. We are always on the lookout for good deals, and are trying to do everything as efficiency and cheaply as possible. We found an awesome deal on salvaged lumber, and used it to prefabricate, and then build our well house, and the rafters for our shipping container roof.
