Pikuni Bigfoot Storytelling Project
Amskapi Pikuni/Blackfeet sisters Carrie Lynn and Lailani take viewers with them across their home, the Blackfeet reservation collecting stories of “Iimoitapi” Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Tribal encounters and stories have been carried down for generations and the two sisters offer a public platform for those who have experienced the being. Efforts for Pikuni Bigfoot Storytelling Project is to bring an understanding and community of support to protect and honor these stories from ridicule and usher validity to the creature who calls these mountains home as well. Any negative comments will be removed. (The Blackfeet reservation is located in Northwest Montana, bordered by Glacier National Park to the west and Canada to the north. Spanning 1.5 million acres, is one of the largest reservations in the United States.
