Quantum Design is the leading manufacturer of automated material characterization systems providing temperatures from 50 mK to 1000 K and magnetic fields up to 16 T. Our Physical Property Measurement Systems (PPMS®, DynaCool™, VersaLab™) provide a range of measurements: magnetometry, electrical transport, heat capacity, thermal transport and expansion, and FMR. The SQUID-based MPMS®3 provides AC susceptibility, oven up to 1000 K, electrical transport, and sub-kelvin temperatures. Additionally, Quantum Design manufactures NexGen helium liquefiers & recovery systems. Recently, QD introduced OptiCool®, an innovative 7 tesla magneto-optical cryostat, with temperatures down to 1.7 K and an 84 x 89 mm sample space. Quantum Design also distributes direct write lithography systems, NanoMOKE, FMR spectrometers, sub-kelvin continuous cooled ADR cryostats, SNSPD single photon detectors and time tagging electronics, quantum education kits, single crystal furnaces, and an AFM insert for SEM/FIB.
