I was not only a caregiver for my 96 year old dad, but I've also been a geriatric social worker for over 25 years. I help loving adult children who are dedicated to their aging parent and are committed to being involved and supportive through their parents last years but who find that the plan of care in place for their parent is not enough to shelter them from the emotional rollercoaster and distress associated with having aging parents.
