Welcome to Tarihin Africa (African Islamic History) Subscribe and like the videos anytime you see it. Tarihi channel focuses on the religious history, general history and cultural history of the African continent. The sub Saharan part of Africa has an extensive and rich history that is under-related and under-presented on multimedia applications like YouTube, Facbook, Twitter, etc. Most Africans and African Muslims do not know and realize how rich our history is. From the Kingdom of Habash (Ethiopia) that accepted and granted early Muslims asylum to the great scholarly city of Timbuktu (Mali) to the beautiful Sufi (Tijaniyya, Qadiriyyah) traditions of Africans, we seek to explore the histories of our beautiful continent. We also seek to learn of the struggles, piety, legacy, enlightenment and illumination of the great personalities in African Islamic history. Extensive research and reading is done on the content posted. Thank you!
