Hey! I'm Toyin and I got my PhD in Math in 2016 and now I've landed my dream job as a Senior Lecturer at a university. I started The Academic Society because, unlike many students, I really enjoyed my grad school experience. And I want to share everything I learned during those 5 years that helped me achieve my goals and become a #gradboss. What is a #GRADBOSS? A #gradboss is a grad student who has figured out how to balance grad school and real life. They are productive but they also have a social life. They build a supportive community around them and they help others. That's why I created The Academic Society. To help you become your best self in grad school. On this channel, you'll find videos on my academic lifestyle, teaching techniques, productivity hacks, and grad school advice. My goal is to create a community of grad students that support each other in life outside of academia!
