The Basement
The Basement is a Let's Play duo of dads from Minnesota. There's no swearing and we avoid games with adult imagery and themes unless they are suitably subtle. Peter and Ted play Nintendo games and provide entertaining banter in the process. The Basement is the friendliest place on YouTube - you can turn it on for your kids, tune in at work, or just hang out with us! We post videos daily, are very active in the comments, and we do seasonal and holiday events. Our biggest series include Breath of the Wild and Minecraft, and we play several other Nintendo IPs and indie games. The Basement operates out of Peter's actual basement which contains the following: a Nintendo Entertainment System, a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, a Gamecube, a Wii, a Wii U, an NES Classic, and SNES Classic, and a Nintendo Switch. We record through two separate Elgato capture devices into a Windows based PC.
