Hello friends! Welcome to my youtube channel! I am Cassaundra (The Tailorette). I make Historical costumes and sell them on Etsy for a living and love to create tasteful garments. Here you will find my journey as a seamstress from how I create to simply my life in my studio. I like to say that I am a historical costumer, but I mainly create for the artwork, not necessarily for the accuracy. However, I do see that historical records do help with creating a garment that looks unique and in its right place. My main goal is create beautiful pieces of clothing that reflect certain eras, but that may include some elements of inaccurate techniques to create a certain look. In general, I mainly stick with historical silhouettes and add my own flare if need be. I'm all about no limitations! Feel free to make yourself and home, I would love to have you apart of my community!
