High Earning YouTube Channels

These YouTube channels are amongst those that we believe are the highest monthly earners on FindAChannel. Note that a channel's earnings as shown on FindAChannel are just a rough estimate. There are many factors that will affect how much a channel will actually earn. It is possible that channels may earn up to 10x as much as our estimated figure. Channel owners may also generate additional income from their channels by using endorsements, merchandise or promotion of affiliate offers.

More Information About Channel Income

Factors that influence a channel's earnings:

  • What topic the channel is about. Higher earning niches include: eCommerce, finance (trading, property), law, insurance, making money. Some other niches you might not expect to be high earning can be very lucrative - one example is beauty/makeup. In general anything in a shopping niche is good.
  • How many views the channel receives.
  • How engaging the videos are. Do viewers watch the whole video, or just the first one or two minutes?
  • Do viewers watch the adverts or press the Skip button?
  • Who is watching the videos? There are some great channels for toddlers (who love swiping tablet screens!) but these channels get very few Likes and of course toddlers can't buy anything!
  • The geographic location of the viewers. In general a higher percentage of viewers from industrialised Western countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, Switzerland) will make the channel more money.
There are also some negative factors that may seriously affect a channel's income. These include:
  • Using copyrighted music will lead to all the income from the video going to the copyright holder. This particular affects dance cover videos but can also impact streamers.
  • Making videos using other peoples' content.
  • Videos in specific non-advertiser friendly niches.
  • Channels with copyright or other strikes.

Don't forget that FindAChannel only estimates a channel's earnings from YouTube itself. There are other ways to monetize a channel. Streamers solicit donations from their fans. People in higher value niches can promote affiliate offers. It's also becoming increasingly popular for YouTubers to promote offers within their videos. I've seen offers for VPN services and computer games in the videos that I've been watching recently. Other YouTubers offer courses, consultancy and of course there are large numbers of established businesses and brands that are active on YouTube. Finally creators generally are trying to send their fanbase to other services such as Patreon and Onlyfans.

Also remember that YouTube has a minimum threshold, under which channels are not monetized. For creators to make any money at all from their channel, they must have at least 4000 watch hours per year and have at least 1000 subscribers.
